Why Analog is outdated

With the switchover to digital TV in full stride it is easy to wonder what is wrong with Analog in the first place. It has after all served us for many years and we have gotten along just fine with it. The answer lies in the resolution mostly. When you compare analog TV and DVD you can clearly see a big difference in the picture quality. TV broadcasters are already in fear of losing viewer to video on demand like Satellite and the Internet. On the Internet you can frequently find full high resolution videos and the cable companies have to keep up with current market trends. Now with digital TV, resolution can catch up with the rest of the digital world.
